Solace Gathering North Captiva Island | October 10-15, 2021

You won’t find it difficult to exhale in our private home nestled in the palms. Only 100 feet from a 4-mile stretch of white sand beach, you’ll find a private pool and abundant decks on which to relax and enjoy Gulf-breezes and the sound of nature at its best. A large hot/cold outdoor shower overlooks tropical lush surroundings and allows you to rinse off the Gulf coast sand before jumping into the water of our private pool.

The Queen bedroom on the bottom level has a separate entrance and doesn’t require climbing stairs. It also includes a large bathroom, spacious living area with TV, dining area, and kitchen. It’s your Solace-home within our Solace home. Three bedrooms on the upper-level include (2) Queen, (1) King, and each with its own en suite bathrooms. The two sets of washer/dryers simplify washing swimsuits and casual wear for the next day’s adventures.

North Captiva is a true barrier island and is separated from the mainland by a 25-minute boat ride. No cars are allowed on the island and transportation is by golf cart or bicycles. Most of the island is a wildlife sanctuary and the beach and unbroken ribbon of white sand where some of the best shelling in North America is found. North Captiva Island is where world-class fishing, boating, shelling, and sunsets await you.

Here you can enjoy the world’s best Tarpon and Snook fishing as the hosts of Solace fire up the barbecue and cook your catch under the stars. Here at Solace, you’ll be miles away from distractions; and hours of lazing in a hammock under the palms, or toasting the magnificent sunsets, will all-together awaken and revitalize body, heart, mind, and spirit.
